Why did we start Nibblet Kids?

Are Nibblet Kids toys safe?

Yes. At Nibblet Kids, child safety is extremely important to us. We aim to source toys that meet relevant toy safety standards and regulations. All toys should be used according to the recommended age guidelines and with appropriate adult supervision.

What materials are your toys made from?

Many of our toys are made from natural materials such as wood. Because wood is a natural material, variations in colour, grain, and texture may occur and are considered part of the toy’s natural character.

Are your toys tested for safety?

Yes, our toys are sourced from manufacturers that provide safety documentation and testing to demonstrate compliance with recognised toy safety standards.

Are the paints and finishes safe for children?

Yes, our toys are produced using child-safe low tox water based stained finishes designed for toy use. We prioritise safe materials and responsible manufacturing.

What age are your toys suitable for?

Each product page includes a recommended age range based on product design and safety considerations. Parents and caregivers should always ensure toys are suitable for their child’s age and developmental stage.

Do any toys contain small parts?

Some toys may contain small parts which may present a choking hazard. Please review product descriptions and warnings carefully. Toys with small parts are not suitable for children under 3 years of age unless otherwise specified.

Do your toys require assembly?

Some toys may require simple assembly. If assembly is required, instructions will be provided with the product.

Care and Cleaning

Can wooden toys go in water?

Most wooden toys are not designed for water play unless specifically stated. Excess water may damage the wood or paint finish.

How should I clean wooden toys?

Wooden toys should be wiped with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking toys in water or using harsh cleaning chemicals as this may damage the wood or finish.

Can wooden toys splinter?

Our toys are designed with smooth finishes and rounded edges. However, like any wooden product, toys should be inspected regularly for signs of wear or damage. We do not recommend any standing or sitting on the toys as they may break and cause splintering.

Free standard shipping on orders over $150 AUD within Australia.

Pre-Orders

From time to time, certain products may be available for pre-order. Pre-order items are products that are not currently in stock but are expected to arrive soon.

Estimated arrival timeframes may be listed on the product page where possible. Please note these timeframes are estimates only and may be subject to delays outside of our control.

If your order contains both in-stock items and pre-order items, the entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order items arrive and are ready for dispatch.

If you would like in-stock items delivered sooner, we recommend placing separate orders for in-stock and pre-order items.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that the item is not yet available for immediate dispatch and agree to wait until the stock arrives before the order is shipped.

Nibblet Kids will notify customers if there are significant delays to pre-ordered items.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Estimated delivery timeframes vary depending on your location.

Typical standard delivery times within Australia are:

  • Metro areas: 2–6 business days
  • Regional areas: 3–10 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather events, or peak shipping periods.

Pre orders and out of stock products will have an estimated arrival date.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

During busy periods such as sales or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $150 AUD within Australia.

Orders under this amount will have shipping costs calculated at checkout.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can start stalking your postie.

Delivery Issues

If you experience any issues with your delivery, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

Nibblet Kids is not responsible for delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside our control, but we will work with the courier where possible to help resolve delivery issues.

Incorrect Shipping Details

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

Nibblet Kids is not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided at the time of purchase.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.

Lost or Missing Parcels

If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us so we can investigate the issue with the courier.

At Nibblet Kids, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, store credits, and refunds are handled.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

What if my product arrives damaged or faulty?

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the product and packaging so we can assist you.

What if I change of mind about my order?

If you change your mind about a purchase, we may offer store credit provided that:

  • The return request is made within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • The item is unused and in original condition.
  • The item is returned in its original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Nibblet Kids does not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. Approved change-of-mind returns will be issued as store credit.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. If an order qualified for free shipping and the order is later returned, the original shipping cost incurred by Nibblet Kids may be deducted from the store credit issued.

Nibblet Kids reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, items must be returned in unused, original condition and in their original packaging.

Products that have been opened, assembled, played with, damaged, or are not in their original saleable condition may not be eligible for return or store credit.

Due to hygiene and safety considerations, Nibblet Kids may refuse returns for toys that show signs of use.

This condition does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described.

Faulty or Damaged Products

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, customers may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product is faulty, unsafe, or not as described.

Where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law, the refund will include the product price and the original shipping cost.

Nibblet Kids may also cover reasonable return shipping costs for faulty products.


What if my item gets damaged in transit?

If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of:

  • The damaged product
  • The packaging
  • The shipping label

This helps us investigate the issue with the courier and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.


What if I've received incorrect items?

If you receive the wrong item, please contact us and we will arrange for the correct product to be sent or provide a suitable resolution.


Processing Returns

Once returned items are received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If the return is approved, store credit or refunds (where applicable under Australian Consumer Law) will be processed.


Store Credit Expiry

Store credit issued for approved returns will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded. Any unused balance will remain available for use until the expiry date.

After the expiry date, any remaining store credit will no longer be valid.


Use of Store Credit

Store credit issued for approved returns may be used toward future purchases on the Nibblet Kids website.

Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or refunded.

Nibblet Kids reserves the right to refuse the use of store credit in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or policy abuse.
